The university has opened a poetry club named after Yerkesh Ibrahim

 

The grand opening of the poetry club named after Yerkesh Ibrahim took place in Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University.

The ceremony was attended by the Vice-rector for Social and Cultural Development Amanbai Seytkasaymov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans Akhmetova Tynyshtyk Mukatovna, University Press Officer Aidar Kozhabayev, faculty and students.

The Vice-rector Amanbai Seytkassymov opened the event and congratulated the youth on the opening of the club.

 Amanbay Assylbaevich noted that the university administration created all conditions for students to receive quality education and engage in scientific and social activities: the university has several circles and clubs in which students take an active part.

The main goal of the poetry club is to unite creative youth, create a poetic environment at the university, and improve creative skills.

The opened club was named after Yerkesh Ibrahim, who occupies a special place in Kazakh poetry. The academician Serik Kirabayev praised the work of Yerkesh Ibrahim: “He was one of the most prominent representatives of Kazakh literature. Yerkesh Ibrahim made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh poetry, raised it to a new level. ”

 Poetry, and generally literature, is inseparable from music. Indeed, often - it is music that gives rise to the mood and artistic image. Among the works of the great composer - the waltz king Shamshi Kaldayakov there are many songs written in the words of Yerkesh Ibrahim - «Ақ бидай маржан», «Биші қайың», «Кел Бурабайға», «Шынарым».

 Throughout the career, there was almost no topic that would not touch the poet’s pen. Starting with lyric poems, he sang the heroism of boys and girls during the Great Patriotic War. Many poems by Ye. Ibrahim were devoted to the labor exploits of people in peacetime. The collections “Life does not die”, “Starry years”, “Young wings”, “Sources of life”, “With all their voices”, “Sea of ​​love” told about them. His songs and poems, ballads inspired the miners of Karaganda, Temirtau metallurgists, conquerors of the virgin lands. Among his works there are verses praising the nature of his native land, his favorite places of childhood.

Yerkesh Ibrahim has left behind a rich literary heritage, which over time would acquire more and more value.

The beauty of Kokshe was sung in their works by Akan sery, Birzhan sal, Baluan Sholak, Ukili Ibrai, Magzhan Zhumabayev, Saken Seyfullin, Koken Shakeyev, Bayangali Alimzhanov and others. Their traditions will be continued by the talented students from Sh. Ualikhanov University.

During the event, young poets presented their author’s poems to the court of guests, as well as recited works of poetry classics.

 A famous poet improviser, honored worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, director of the Museum named after Malik Gabdullin Kudaiberli Myrzabekov, poet and writer, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erbolat Bayat, young poet Kuanysh Ospanov were invited to this event. They congratulated on the opening of the club and wished creative success to university students.

 Tynyshtyk Akhmetova, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the University, congratulated the creative youth and blessed them according to the Kazakh tradition.

So, in Shokan Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University another cultural center was opened for talented youth.
